Some verbatim feedback from my customers (internal and external) over the past year

Thinking...
Gary embodies bias for action. I have had the pleasure of working with Gary on multiple accounts. After every call, Gary not only lists the action items, but he helps me with plotting out a plan to get them done. He also can see around corners and thinks big. I have seen Gary organize analytics events that have helped customers get exposed to new functionality in the service and unlocking new opportunities.
Gary has been an asset to teams by helping them launch data driven projects. His ability to think big by addressing future needs of the customer consistently moves opportunities forward. He dive's deep into customer initiatives and projects to drive AWS's solutions which helps business owners solve problems.
Gary is quite professional and dedicated to the customers. He is talented and hard working and tries best to come up with new ideas to help customers. He always thinks big and is very focused towards delivering results. Working with Gary is very comfortable, he has great knowledge on customers needs.
Gary takes a high degree of ownership in his work. He is able to drive initiatives to resolution with autonomy and immediately earns trust with his customers and AWS colleagues.
Gary's superpower is his eagerness to add value and engage with both internal and external customers. Gary's work ethic and availability set him apart from most other BDMs across all services. He's always eager to learn, solve problems and support the field AMs where he can. He's eager to take ownership and drive actions to completion.
One of Gary's superpowers is bringing a very strategic approach to how we engage our customers to create and drive opportunities. At AWS we often struggle to engage and sell outside of engineering and IT, and Gary is leading an effort to refine our approach driving business with our customers. Gary is an amazing sales and account strategist, and he relentlessly pushes the rest of us to up our game, to aim higher in the way we are engaging our customers, and to bring a "value-based" approach to sales that is helping to create better more strategic analytics and AIML opportunities.

Gary has a great ability to dig deep and understand what is at the core of a customer issue or challenge. His ability to ask the right questions, get customers talking, and to identify clear paths forward for successful outcomes is impressive and a valuable asset in customer engagements.
Gary is a thought leader in data/analytics in the Ed Tech org and beyond. Specifically, he has taken the lead on a number of projects including an important [REDACTED] build out. He has taken ownership of multiple data labs that will lead to new data science and data lake build outs that will significantly impact growth this year.
Gary is willing to jump in and take the reins on customer interactions and deals. He also does a great job of communicating and strategizing with the account team behind the scenes for optimal outcome. I look forward to working with him on additional engagements going forward.
Gary's super power is his broad understanding of the customer's business drivers. He understands the technology but, more importantly, he understands the business environment in which a customer operates and this reflects our customer's priorities.
Gary's super powers are customer obsession, ownership and learn and be curious. He uses this ability to dive deep into his customers use cases like [REDACTED], [REDACTED] and [REDACTED] to identify collaborative opportunities. This ability enables Gary to ensure that he is delivering the most relevant solutions and resources to his customers to ensure mutual success.

Gary has a great knowledge of the analytics space in general and AWS services in particular. Gary really contributed to a successful 2022 by supporting customer engagements at [REDACTED] and [REDACTED] for example. Gary did a great Analytics/QS combo session at the [REDACTED] EBC and helped [REDACTED] in early stages of their data/analytics journey.
Gary is constantly looking for new ways to be successful. He sees beyond the traditional paradigm and looks for inroads with internal stakeholders and builds credibility both internally and externally. He is humble even though he clearly knows a lot. Very much a team player, Gary sees the whole customer and not just his segment of focus.
Gary served as a persistent, diligent business partner to my team in 2022. He was pro-active, thoughtful in his engagement. He is an effective trust builder who was willing to work backward from the reality of my team's challenges and needs.
Gary's super power is to have both the business and technical conversation with customers. Gary does a great job of leveraging his experience and can relate to customers and help bridge the technology with the business outcomes.
Gary's superpower is knowledge. Gary is a seasoned sales professional with a breath of knowledge and a specialist with an understanding the power of data. These two areas of skill put him in a unique position for success.
